Any major, and yes, first-semester freshmen
Our members come from every undergraduate school at Georgetown. We look for builders. If you have ever shipped something, run something, or created something, apply. Above all we want people who are curious and empathetic.
Apply in your first semester
Product Space is not an MSB-affiliated club, so we are not bound by the rules that keep freshmen out until spring. If you are here this fall, you can apply this fall.
The education comes after you are in
Many clubs ask you to spend a semester in open-access education before you can even apply, with no idea whether you will get in. We think that is a lot to ask of your time. You apply first, and then you do the fellowship as a member.
No experience required
Prior product or tech experience is genuinely not expected. We are interested in how you approach an interesting problem, not in what is already on your resume.
We track demonstrated interest
For Fall 2026 we are tracking demonstrated interest, so coming to an info session or a coffee chat genuinely counts. It is also the easiest way to work out whether you actually want this.
One application, one interview
We have deliberately kept this short. Two steps, not four, and nothing that requires you to prepare for weeks.
1 · Written application
A set of short and long answer questions on a Google Form, built around product sense and problem solving. There are no correct or incorrect answers: we want to understand how you reason, and whether Product Space is the right fit for you.
2 · A single 30-minute interview
One round, roughly thirty minutes, combining behavioral questions with a product case. The product question requires no technical background. We are looking for problem solving, teamwork, commitment, enthusiasm, and results-forward thinking, not a track record.
Recruitment timeline
Come to any of these. Attendance is the clearest signal of demonstrated interest, and the fastest way to get your questions answered by a person.
